Intermed Labs is pleased to announce four internships that have been awarded to West Virginia University students.
The opportunity is an effort by the IL team to expose bright minds to areas they wouldn't necessarily be exposed to in medical school or undergraduate studies.
Tom McClellan, CEO of IL, said, "We are so excited to welcome these brilliant young students to our team. Getting medical students, engineers, and entrepreneurs in the same room and excited about helping patients is the kindling we need in WV. I know they will learn a great deal and I hope it sparks one of them start a company in the future."
Interns will participate in market research, intellectual property, product design and prototyping, while helping build cool products and companies. Additionally they will be encouraged and supported to complete bench and clinical research projects.
